4pm- Microsoft UK Welcome to the Explore the Digital Future Programme
The Microsoft team shares their ambitions for this innovative new programme that is a core part of their mission: to empower every person on the planet to achieve more.
Our educator team gives an overview of the Explore the Digital Future programme and how it could have a powerful impact on young people’s futures by inspiring them towards careers in tech and giving them an understanding and practical experience of the digital and soft skills that will get them there through ethical values based on trust and inclusion.
Our educator team will guide you through the modules and explore opportunities for learner participation and practical development of digital skills. We’ll dive into the lesson materials format and how they are designed to work in a classroom context. We’ll also explore the comprehensive educator materials and explain how they link to the Scottish curriculum.
The last session will uncover the wider opportunities for learner participation in experiences that will allow them to develop digital and soft skills on real-world projects such as the Imagine Cup and how these apply to age ranges, CfE levels and target groups.
Ask the panel session which allows educators the chance to ask questions about the programme and feedback on the session.
