Accessible learning Session 2
March 17 @ 4:00 pm - 4:45 pm
About the Series Five Steps Digital:
Our aim for this programme is to develop educators confident use of Microsoft’s digital solutions in five key areas integral to classroom learning success: Accessibility, Planning. Presentation, Assessment and Feedback. Led by MIEE fellows, Sarah Clark, Amanda Pickard and Ros Lee, there will be a number of short events in each step all with a real focus on pedagogy and classroom practice. These events will explore the best use of the Microsoft 365 apps in really powerful ways that will enhance your delivery and the learning experience for your learners.
Learn how to support and track your pupils’ reading fluency with Reading Progress. We will also be looking at the many varied built-in accessibility tools that enable all pupils to participate and achieve.
These non-stigmatizing tools promote independent learning, such as Immersive Reader, Learning Tools, the Edge browser and most recently the ability to include video instructions in Teams assignments.
Tools we’ll explore:
Edge Browser features
Video instruction using flipgrid and Teams Assignments
