Developing confident and responsible digital citizens

Our Digital Ninjas projects offer a sustainable approach to embedding digital technologies in classrooms and communities

Digital Ninjas is an extended curricular project we could develop with your school/establishment to truly revolutionise approaches to learning and teaching that embraces the confidence young people have in approaching technology.

Pam Currie is Tablet Academy Scotland’s leader for the Education sector and whilst Pam gets quite excited about most things, the Digital Ninjas project is something she is especially passionate about.

Developing Digital Citizens

Pam worked with a group of learners from the Community School of Auchterarder to develop the Ryder Cup Education website using video as a huge part of the resource.

Pam was very keen to use and develop the digital skills of the learners themselves and the project was a huge success for all involved. It attracted major press attention for the school with STV and Sky TV visiting the school to take footage and with lots of positive news articles as a result.

Talk to us about running a Digital Ninjas project with your pupils

We are keen to develop this idea with Tablet Academy Scotland and see the project as an opportunity to build sustainable digital support with pupils taking the lead in supporting staff to develop flipped lesson content.

You might be running a special project like the Ryder Cup resource  or you might see the potential in having pupils lead the way in digital content creation and development.
